MOLISAN THERAPEUTIC DRESSING
The ready-to-use therapeutic dressing is applied to the required area of the body and left in place for the period specified by the recommended regimen.

Product information
The therapeutic dressing and solution have adsorptive and cleansing properties, support absorption of fluid and contaminants, provide antibacterial action, help reduce pain, inflammation and swelling, and support regeneration and local microcirculation.
MOLISAN Therapeutic Dressing is used as an adjunct to comprehensive treatment and care.
MOLISAN Skin & Wound Care Solution is intended primarily for direct cleansing and care of the skin and wound. MOLISAN Therapeutic Dressing is used as a ready-to-use therapeutic application or as a therapeutic solution for preparing a moist dressing and for other specified forms of local use. In purulent or infected wounds, these forms may be used sequentially: cleansing and local wound care first, followed by the therapeutic dressing when included in the selected regimen.
Two forms of use
Ready-to-use therapeutic dressing
Used as an application to a defined body area for the period specified by the selected regimen. The ready-to-use dressing is used, among other situations, for:
- post-injection abscesses, furuncles and selected purulent processes;
- joint and musculoskeletal conditions;
- vascular conditions of the lower limbs, including varicose disease, lymphedema and ulcerative lesions;
- pelvic organ conditions;
- breast conditions and inflammatory breast disorders;
- selected bacterial, fungal and viral skin conditions;
- infected wounds and burns.
An open or purulent wound does not in itself exclude use of the therapeutic dressing. For deep, markedly inflamed, postoperative or complicated wounds, the care plan should be determined by a physician.
MOLISAN Therapeutic Solution
The therapeutic solution is used:
- to prepare a multilayer moist dressing;
- on the scalp for hair loss, alopecia areata, seborrhea and scalp psoriasis;
- for selected ENT and respiratory conditions;
- for stomatitis, periodontitis, gingivitis, increased tooth sensitivity, toothache and unpleasant oral odor.
Directions for use

- For deep, purulent, postoperative or complicated wounds, the method of use should be determined by a physician.

Therapeutic solution
Preparing a moist dressing. Fold a bandage or gauze into 8 layers. For a dressing approximately 15 × 20 cm, use 20–25 ml of MOLISAN Therapeutic Solution. The dressing should be evenly moist but not dripping.
Scalp. After washing the hair, apply 20–30 ml of therapeutic solution to a slightly towel-dried scalp. Used for hair loss, alopecia areata, seborrhea and scalp psoriasis.
Oral cavity. For stomatitis, periodontitis, gingivitis, increased tooth sensitivity, toothache and unpleasant oral odor, hold 20–25 ml of therapeutic solution in the mouth for 20–30 minutes or longer. Use 3–5 times daily for 1–2 weeks or as needed. This does not replace dental care.
ENT and respiratory conditions. MOLISAN Therapeutic Solution itself is used rather than the ready-to-use dressing. The solution is used by instillation into the nose and gargling.
