How MOLISAN acts locally on skin and wounds

MOLISAN acts locally on the surface of the skin and wound. Its use combines antiseptic treatment, cleansing of the damaged surface, management of wound discharge with a well-moistened dressing, and maintenance of a moist wound environment. During irrigation and dressing changes, loosened exudate and surface contaminants are removed together with the dressing, while the moist environment helps prevent drying and adherence to the wound surface. Together, these local effects create more favorable conditions for tissue recovery.

1. Antiseptic action

As part of local wound care, MOLISAN is used to cleanse the damaged surface and help maintain a clean wound environment. The antimicrobial activity of a confidential principal component used in MOLISAN was examined in 2006 by the National Center for Disease Control and Medical Statistics.

The document records that with Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, no microbial growth on culture media was observed after the tested exposures of 5, 10, 30, 60 and 120 minutes and 24 hours. For spore and vegetative forms of Bacillus anthracis 6341-G, growth was still observed after 5 and 10 minutes, while after 30 minutes no microbial growth was observed.

2. Cleansing and removal of exudate

When the wound is irrigated or a well-moistened MOLISAN dressing is applied, the solution remains in direct contact with the damaged surface. Wound discharge is moistened and loosened, and exudate and surface contaminants are removed during cleansing and timely dressing changes. The dressing should be replaced before accumulated discharge dries or remains in prolonged contact with the wound.

3. Maintaining a moist wound environment

The dressing should remain thoroughly moistened with MOLISAN and should not dry out or adhere to the damaged surface. Maintaining an appropriate moisture balance protects the wound surface from drying and supports local conditions favorable for tissue recovery and healing.

4. Use with other topical products

During a course of topical MOLISAN, simultaneous application of other topical products to the same area is not recommended, especially fat- or oil-based ointments, creams and oils. They may form a fatty film on the surface, reduce direct contact of the solution with the skin or wound, and interfere with removal of wound discharge. For full local action of MOLISAN, the surface should remain directly accessible to moistening with the solution.

If another topical product has been prescribed by a physician as an essential part of treatment, it should not be stopped independently; the physician should determine the sequence and intervals of application.

5. Tissue restoration and healing

Long-term practical experience with MOLISAN in chronic and difficult-to-heal wounds shows that this combination of local effects promotes active restoration of damaged tissue, accelerates healing and improves the quality of healing. As the wound surface is cleansed and new tissue forms, the wound defect progressively decreases and closes.

Why burning, tightness and pain may lessen

In erysipelas, trophic ulcers, infected wounds and other inflammatory lesions, swelling may develop, fluid and exudate may accumulate, and tissue pressure may irritate nerve endings. This can cause burning, tightness and pain. When wound discharge is removed in time and the local inflammatory and exudative process subsides, tissue tension and these unpleasant sensations may gradually decrease.

Important: MOLISAN does not replace antibiotic therapy prescribed by a physician when antibiotics are required.

Chronic and non-healing wounds

General principles of local care

Use MOLISAN for gentle cleansing, irrigation, moist gauze dressings and, when appropriate, sterile wound packing.

The solution may be warmed to a comfortable temperature of about 35–40 °C. Use gauze or cotton fabric in several layers; the dressing should remain moist but should not drip.

For deep, purulent or postoperative wounds, debridement, drainage, sutures and packing must be determined by a physician.

Closed inflammatory focus

Before an abscess or boil opens, treat the area with warm MOLISAN and apply a moist dressing several times daily.

After opening of a purulent focus

Gently rinse the cavity with MOLISAN, allow free drainage and apply sterile gauze or packing moistened with the solution. Change according to exudate and contamination.

Abscesses, boils, furunculosis and carbuncles

Use the common algorithm above. Continue cleansing and moist dressings until the wound is clean and healthy granulation tissue appears.

Phlegmon

Apply a dressing soaked with MOLISAN over the infiltrated area for 20–30 minutes, 4–5 times daily. After surgical opening, rinse the wound; sterile packing may be left for 6–8 hours when clinically appropriate.

Panaritium

During the first days, use warm baths at 35–40 °C for 10–15 minutes, dry the skin and apply a moist dressing. After opening, continue local cleansing. Typical care may last 7–10 days, depending on the condition.

Trophic ulcers and long-standing wounds

After removal of necrotic tissue and loose debris, gently irrigate the wound with warm MOLISAN. Sterile moist packing may be used for deep wounds. Dressings are usually changed once or twice daily according to exudate. Chronic ulcers require longer care and medical follow-up.

Pressure injuries

Gently rinse the area, allow surrounding skin to dry and apply 4–6 layers of gauze or cotton fabric moistened with MOLISAN. Reposition the patient regularly, reduce pressure and use an appropriate pressure-relieving surface.

Postoperative wounds

Rinse an open or inflamed wound and apply a sterile moist dressing. Deep wounds, sutures, drains or marked purulent discharge require surgical supervision.

Mastitis and inflammatory breast induration

Apply a moist dressing 2–3 times daily. An open wound may be cleansed and covered with sterile gauze. Fever, increasing pain or purulent discharge requires medical assessment.

Burns

Use MOLISAN to cool and maintain moisture on the affected surface, by gentle spraying or a non-adherent moist dressing. Extensive, deep, chemical or electrical burns require urgent medical care.

Varicose disease and bleeding areas

Gently cleanse the area several times daily. A moist dressing may be applied for 20–30 minutes. Bleeding, sudden swelling, redness, pain or a hard vein requires medical assessment.

Erysipelas, lymphedema and ulcers

Apply warm moist dressings several times daily. For ulcers, follow the chronic-wound algorithm. Fever, rapidly spreading redness or increasing edema requires urgent medical evaluation.

Comprehensive approach

In some programs, local care was combined with MOLISAN ELIXIR and other products. Any internal regimen should be selected individually after clinical assessment.

Skin conditions

General rules for external care

Gently clean the affected area. When needed, soften the skin first with a warm moist dressing. Apply gauze or linen soaked with MOLISAN for 3–4 hours. If the dressing remains clean and moist, gradually extend the interval to 5–6 and then 8–10 hours.

How to warm the solution

Pour only the amount needed for one procedure into a separate cup and place it in hot water. Do not store or reuse warmed solution.

Fungal infections of the skin and feet

Wash with warm water and soap, dry thoroughly, then apply four layers of gauze or linen soaked with MOLISAN. Keep the dressing moist, re-wetting every 10–15 minutes. During the first 5–6 days, repeat 6–8 times daily, then adjust to the condition.

Fungal nail infection

Soak the feet, trim and gently clean affected nails. Use a warm MOLISAN bath at 40–42 °C for about 30 minutes or warm moist dressings. Continue until healthy nail growth replaces the affected plate. Regularly disinfect footwear and socks.

Skin psoriasis

Soften the skin first, then apply a warm 6–8-layer gauze or linen dressing at 38–40 °C for 20–40 minutes, 3–4 times daily. Continue regular preventive skin care after improvement.

Scalp psoriasis

After washing, divide the hair into sections and treat the entire scalp with a cotton pad soaked in MOLISAN. Cover with a shower cap or towel for 15–20 minutes. Use slightly warmed solution, about 40 °C, at least twice daily.

Eczema

Soften the affected area with a warm moist dressing, gently clean the skin and apply a MOLISAN dressing for 3–4 hours. Replace it and gradually extend intervals as discharge decreases.

Comprehensive approach

Some historical programs combined local care with MOLISAN ELIXIR, Molisan Antiparasitic Formula and Silver Nanocolloid. Such combinations should be individualized and used on a physician’s recommendation.

General recommendations

  • Use the procedures consistently
  • Maintain adequate sleep
  • Reduce stress where possible
  • Limit alcohol and avoid smoking
  • Avoid excessively spicy, smoked and salty foods

Hello. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lika for my treatment. I am an emigrant living in Italy. I had a severely inflamed lipoma on my back. Through Messenger, Dr. Lika assessed my condition and sent me Molisan, which completely cleared the swollen and irritated area. Please forgive my emotional writing, but I still can hardly believe it myself. I noticed results as early as the second day of using Molisan. I started on 04.09.2023, and here is the latest photo from 10.09.2023 . My deepest thanks to Dr. Lika for her kindness, support, and reassurance: "I am always available, don't worry." Thank you, Dr. Lika 😍. I would also like to thank your entire team for the fantastic Molisan products. Respectfully, your patient Tamar Sharikadze 💖

Truly outstanding products! Everything happened exactly as described for psoriasis treatment. I use compresses, drink Molisan, take the Molisan Molisan Antiparasitic Formula, nano silver, and living water.

I saw results on my psoriasis-damaged palms the very next day. Today is the fifth day, and the skin that had been peeling in four layers is now down to two layers and has turned pink. I also feel better internally. Fatigue and nervous stress are gradually disappearing. My deepest gratitude!!! ❤️️

My report for the second day of the second month of my psoriasis treatment marathon. In the morning, I drank 35 ml of Molisan Drinking Solution warmed to 37–38°C. It has a rather unusual taste—slightly salty and difficult to describe. It is easy enough to drink, although I am not usually a fan of herbal remedies. Still, I liked Molisan. Then I washed all the affected areas with soap and applied Molisan. It started to sting and itch.

But I had actually missed Molisan, and while it was working I kept smelling it—I absolutely love the scent. After that, I drank two glasses of water and went to work at the studio. Svetlana and I had breakfast together: liver pancakes with vinaigrette salad and another salad with chicken and prunes.

Both the pancakes and the chicken salad were a bit salty, but unfortunately in our city it is almost impossible to find a café where they will prepare food without salt upon request. Later at the studio, I spent about 30 minutes with a Molisan compress, although this time only on my neck. Back at home, I washed the affected areas again with soap, applied a Dead Sea mask, and then used a Molisan compress. For dinner, I ate dumplings. Of course, they contain meat, but I really felt like having them.

In the evening, on an empty stomach, I drank another 35 ml of warmed Molisan Drinking Solution. That is all for today. A little later I will apply Molisan once again and then go to sleep. The lesions on my knees: the first photo was taken before treatment, and the second on the 12th day of treatment. The enhanced Molisan with Gold is absolutely amazing—it should be in every home.
Follow my future progress, and I hope for victory 💪💪💪👍👍👍👍
My favorite Molisan. The blue one is for drinking, and the yellow one contains gold. Tatarstan, Chistopol. Adelina Yastrebova.
